In order to protect the needs of patients of specialist clinics and departments, we perform examinations in the following areas:
- electrocardiographic monitoring,
- blood pressure monitoring,
- cardiac stress tests on a treadmill.
INFORMATION FOR PATIENTS:
The laboratory performs tests for:
- patients of the J. Dietl Hospital in Kraków;
- patients referred from the Specialist Clinics of the J. Dietl Hospital in Kraków.
- patients referred from other health care centers that have entered into appropriate agreement with the Hospital to perform such examinations in their favor.
ECG Laboratory and the Laboratory of Cardiovascular Organ Function Tests, Hemodynamics and Echocardiography is located in room 022 in the J. Dietl Specialist Hospital in Kraków in the building at ul. Focha 33.
Performed examinations: ECG, ECG Holter, ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, cardiac stress tests on the treadmill:
Monday: 7:30 – 3:00 p.m.
Tuesday: 7:30 – 5:00 p.m.
Wednesday: 7:30 – 5:00 p.m.
Thursday: 7:30 – 5:00 p.m.
Friday: 7:30 – 3:00 p.m.

The Diagnostic Laboratory is equipped with modern, high quality equipment that performs approx. 420 000 examinations per year. The tests are carried out in the laboratories of hematology, serology, immunology, coagulology, arterial blood gas, immunochemistry, clinical biochemistry and general chemistry. Laboratory staff is actively involved in research and academic work.
In the prospect, if necessary, it is expected to broaden the spectrum of laboratory services. The laboratory conducts tests for patients of individual departments, of the Central Admission Hall, the Hospital’s Outpatient Clinic, Rheumatology Clinics at ul. Batorego and al. Focha, and for patients covered by the drug prescription programs. The unit also performs paid medical tests for institutions and workplaces with which the hospital has entered into appropriate agreements, as well as for individuals. In case of blood tests the patient is required to perform the test on an empty stomach. If the patient is taking medications, she/he should inquire about the proceedings before the test, in connection with the possibility of falsification of results.
The tests with referral (free): in the blood collection facility of the outpatient clinic at al. Focha 33, from Monday to Friday from 7:00 to 8:30 a.m.
Paid tests: in Blood Collection Facility of the outpatient clinic at al. Focha 33, from Monday to Friday from 7:00 to 8:30 a.m. or in the blood collection facility of the Laboratory at ul. Skarbowa 1, from Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m.
Receipt of the test results at the Laboratory, daily from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. A detailed list of the tests with prices is located in the Blood Collection Facilities.
