1. INFORMATION ON CURRENT ACTIVITY

  • The clinic provides consultation and treatment of hematopoietic system diseases, including the necessary diagnostics.

2. DISEASES TREATED IN THE CLINIC

  • Anemia
  • Chronic myeloproliferative syndrome (MPS) and lymphoproliferative syndrome not requiring intensive chemotherapy.

3. FEATURES SPECIFIC FOR THE UNIT

  • In justified cases (after performing the primary hematology diagnostics) patients may be directed to a specialist or higher referral centers.

Rules of admission:

The right to free health services is determined in the eWUŚ system. In the absence of positive verification, it is required to make a statement or present a valid document confirming health insurance.
The specialist physicians see the patients based on referrals and upon registration. The only effective referral is issued by the health insurance physician.

Documents required from patients:

Identity card or other document confirming identity.

Tests required, particularly from first-time patients:

Complete blood count, blood smear and erythrocyte sedimentation rate.
The results of diagnostic tests performed so far.
Information cards from previous hospitalizations.
Currently taken medications.
