1. INFORMATION ON CURRENT ACTIVITY

  • The clinic provides early detection and treatment of rheumatic diseases, especially inflammatory joint diseases and osteoporosis, including the necessary diagnostics.
  • It qualifies and carries out the biological therapy for patients with  rheumatoid arthritis,  psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis within the drug prescription programs financed by the National Health Fund (NFZ).
  • Pharmacological treatment supported with rehabilitation treatment.

  • Rheumatoid arthritis
  • Psoriatic arthritis
  • Ankylosing spondylitis
  • Spondyloarthropathies
  • Crystalopathies (e.g. gout)
  • Osteoarthritis
  • Connective tissue disease (e.g. systemic lupus erythematosus, scleroderma).

3. FEATURES SPECIFIC FOR THE UNIT

  • There is a possibility of performing ultrasonography of the joints.
  • Intra-articular and periarticular blocks.
  • Treatment of osteoporosis with intravenous preparations.

Rules of admission:

The right to free health services is determined in the eWUŚ system. In the absence of positive verification, it is required to make a statement or present a valid document confirming health insurance.
The specialist physicians see the patients based on referrals and upon registration. The only effective referral is issued by the health insurance physician.

Documents required from patients:

Identity card or other document confirming identity.

Tests required, particularly from first-time patients:

The results of basic laboratory and imaging tests to confirm the diagnosis on the committal (complete blood count, erythrocyte sedimentation rate, C Reactive Protein, rheumatoid factor, transaminase, creatinine, urinalysis, radiography of chest, joint or spine).
Documents relating to comorbidities.
Currently applied treatment.
